Peugeot 308 GTi

Developed by Peugeot Sport division, the fierce new 308 GTi will have Volkswagen's GTI squarely in its cross hairs when it's launched in 2015. Until then the hottest version of the 308 will be the GT model, which is expected to be launched at this year's Paris Motor Show. Our first whiff of what we can look forward to in the 308 GTi came at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, where the hot hatch was shown in concept as the 308 R. Expect the final model to rely heavily on the concept car's design cues, with power likely coming from the RCZ R's brawny 1.6-litre 270hp turbocharged engine.
