Sanzhi UFO Houses... Taiwan
The Sanzhi UFO houses or Sanzhi Pod City were a set of abandoned pod-shaped buildings in Sanzhi District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. Built in 1978 the dilapidated community of strange UFO houses was intended to emulate a futuristic resort town for U.S. military personnel posted in East Asia. Due to lack of investment and a number of odd deaths during construction, it was abandoned a year after construction.
