'Versatile' Gaurav Chopra winning award for Gadar 2, once again proves after Rana Naidu that a good actor isn’t medium-dependent, gaurav chopra, gadar 2, rana naidu
Gaurav Chopra is one of the most charming and dynamic actors in the Indian entertainment industry. Over the years, he's pushed himself beyond regular limits on many occasions and this positive attitude has played an instrumental role in helping him carve out his niche in the industry. Whenever Gaurav has attained success, he's always been courageous enough to make a bold move by stepping backwards and starting again from the scratches to challenge the artiste in him. He's never been shy of experimentation and more often than not, the audience has always accepted him.

If we talk about Gaurav's career graph post the Covid-19 pandemic, it's been a remarkable phase indeed. From Bachchhan Paandey to Rana Naidu and Gadar 2, he's actually smoked it out of the park and has made it a hat-trick of attaining success and positive feedback from the audience. All the three projects are extremely different from each other and as far as getting validation is concerned, it seems like God is in the mood to shower awards for Gaurav one after the other. After having bagged two special awards for the quirky and unpredictable role as Prince in Rana Naidu,  Gaurav has now bagged another one for Gadar 2. He bagged the award for ’Best Actor For Gadar 2’ at the prestigious Mid-Day India Influencer Awards 2023 and he was honoured by the likes of Oscar-winning sound designer Resul Pookutty, Warda Khan S Nadiadwala, & Producer Vinod Bachchan on stage. Gaurav was spotted all smiles and happy as he accepted the honour while looking dashing in his all-black look.

Regarding the honour, Gaurav says,

"Awards are always special and it only motivates you to work harder. It is indeed a reflection of your hard work and efforts that you put into your craft and for a profession like acting which is very dependent on ’reaction’ and ’reciprocation', awards mean a lot indeed. It makes you feel that there are people noticing your hard work and calculative decisions. Talking about calculative decisions, I was very clear that post Covid-19, I want to do stuff that I have never done. So, I decided that I am going to have zero inhibitions and completely surrender myself to my director. I have done that in all my projects in my career. As far as the phase post Covid-19 is concerned, it's been good in terms of recognition. I was humbled to receive two awards earlier for Rana Naidu and now this one for Gadar 2 is extremely special. I had my own challenges to get into the skin of an army officer and that too from 1971. I have already spoken about the various stages of preparation and research that I went through to get this right. I am just happy that I actually did get it right. Thanks to my audience for making my character so popular, and glorifying it for all the right reasons. Here's to even better work going forward."

In all his recent projects, Gaurav Chopra has kept the surprise element alive and has stunned one and all the right away. It will be interesting to see what he has in store for us next. Stay tuned for more updates.
