"Tevar" item song leaves Arjun Kapoor hurt
New Delhi: The young and impressive Arjun Kapoor might be riding high, post the success of his last release "2 States", but the actor got injured on the sets of his upcoming film "Tevar". The mishap happened while he was shooting an item number with actress Shruti Haasan.
Arjun got an injury on his lower back, while dancing on some foot-tapping steps. The shoot had to be called off for some time, as Arjun writhed in pain. The film "Tevar" is being directed by Amit Sharma and is a remake of 2003 hit Telugu film "Okkadu".
The actor took to Twitter to wrote about his injury. He tweeted: "Ok for the record me n my back r just fine..one of the most random articles I have read recently about myself..Btw Tevar s last day today.."
"Tevar" stars Sonakshi Sinha, Manoj Bajpayee, besides Arjun Kapoor in pivotal roles. The film is slated to hit the theatres on January 9, 2015. It is jointly produced by brothers Boney and Sanjay Kapoor.
