Menstruating women:- As menstruating women are considered unclean, so their entry to temples or other religious places is prohibited. During periods, they are not allowed to go in kitchen too. The ladies of earlier times used to perform all tough household tasks and this superstition was prevalent as women become weak due to loss of blood during menstruation. This superstition gives them opportunity to relax during this time.
