New OPPO phone with Waterfall Screen with extremely curved edges to launch in 2020
Oppo recently showcased an under-display front camera is now preparing a screen with 88-degree curved edges and no buttons on the side. It is called Waterfall Screen and is nearing the 100% screen-to-body ratio with ever so tiny bezels on the top and bottom. Oppo VP Brian Shen revealed a prototype phone with a new Full-Display 2.0 screen technology. This is a dual-edge display that is extremely curved on the sides for a high screen-to-body ratio.
The Full-Display 2.0, which Oppo is also calling Waterfall Screen, sees both left and right side of the screen curved at 88-degrees. With the edges of the screen offering deep curves, the bezels look almost non-existent. The top and bottom bezels also look extremely thin with no notch or hole-punch cutout. All of this means the phone appears to offer nearly 100 per cent screen ratio.
