Keeping your house clean and tidy is very important to be in good health. You have little kids in your house who have the bad habit of putting everything into their mouth they find on the floor. To clean your house, you can use homemade floor-cleaning recipes for the purpose.

Basic floor cleaner
This floor cleaner works well on all floor types - sealed wood, tile, laminate and linoleum - for regular cleaning. And it really couldn't be simpler. Simply mix equal parts of white vinegar and hot water, and mop. There's no need to rinse, and the vinegar smell dissipates once the floors have dried. The vinegar acts as a mild disinfectant and leaves a nice shine.

Wood floor cleaner
Combine 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1 teaspoon vegetable oil (finally a good use for it!). Add 1 cup of water. Mix well and rub lightly into floors to bring back shine and clean spots. Add a few drops of essential oil of choice for nice scent.

All purpose floor cleaner
Mix equal parts of vinegar and water and dampen mop. For really tough stains, pre-treat with 2 T washing soda dissolved in 16 ounces of water. Mop well and damp mop with pure water to rinse.
