Homemade scrubs are a recipe for healthy, glowing skin! Budget friendly, natural, always fresh, absolutely chemical free.

Sugar Scrub
Use fine brown or white sugar as well as olive, coconut or pretty much any vegetable oil you have at hand, mixing them in a 2:1 ratio so that for every spoonful of oil you add 2 spoons of sugar.

Scrub for Sensitive Skin

Mix sugar and oil in a 2:1 ratio, blend a small to medium cucumber and mix all of these together. Rub it in gently, let it sit for a couple of minutes and enjoy your soft, exfoliated, glowing skin.

Green Tea Scrub
A few tablespoons of cold, strong tea mixed with enough white sugar and honey to make a thick, gritty paste will provide you with a perfect scrub.

Banana scrub

Take two ripe bananas, mash and add ground sugar. For hydration and moisture, add one tablespoon of honey. Gently massage this mildly fragrant pulp on your face for five minutes, then wash it off with cool water.

How to scrub correctly
Splash water on your face. Take a one tablespoon scrub and gently massage all over your face and neck avoiding the under-eye area. Do not apply too much pressure and do not keep scrubbing for more than two minutes. You may scrub a little harder on the T-zone area of face.
