Here's everything you need to know about exchanging Rs 500, Rs 1000
How can you exchange your note:-
Exchange them from a bank or post office till 24 November. The limit for exchange is Rs. 4000.
One must produce a valid government identity cards like PAN, Aadhaar and Election Card.
After December 30, these can be deposited at the Reserve Bank with a declaration.
Tourists can change the notes at airports.
Citizens will have 50 days to exchange notes of Rs 500 & Rs 1000 in any Bank, Head Post office or Sub-Post office after furnishing ID card.
