On the work front, just last month Deepika Padukone made her big Hollywood debut in Vin Diesel's xXx: Return Of Xander Cage. The film which underperformed at the US box office is a worldwide hit with record breaking business at China box office. As far as Bollywood is concerned, after a no show in 2016, she'll be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmavati. The film is news lately for running into controversy with Rajput Karni Sena who created ruckus on the sets constructed in Rajasthan and assaulted the director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film also stars Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
