Bhansali finally has his BAJIRAO and MASTANI!
A friend of Bhansali confirmed the news yesterday, saying, "Deepika is looking forward to shooting with Bhansali and Ranveer again. Her last stint with the duo (Ram-Leela) got her plenty of accolades that she will not forget in a long time."
"SLB was keen on Deepika for Mastani's part. But she couldn't seem to accommodate the long schedules required for Bajirao Mastani, specially since she gave the nod to Karan Johar's Shuddhi, which would take up close to 150 shooting days," says a source.
