Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli blessed with a baby girl
Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have been blessed with a baby girl. The baby was born at a private hospital in Mumbai. Virat made the announcement on Twitter - mother and baby are both doing well, he wrote and signed off with a request for privacy. Virat tweeted: "We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time."
Kohli and Anushka, who got married in December 2018, had announced their pregnancy together on social media on August 27. Kohli had come back from Australia after playing the first Test in Adelaide last month to be with his Bollywood actress wife and has been by Anushka's side through the final days of her pregnancy.
