Do not keep the leash too tight
Loosen the leash! To be walked with a tight leash on is too stressful for your dog. It causes a lot of discomfort and does not give your dog enough space and freedom. Puppies feel fine when their leash is not too tight. They understand that everything is alright and there is no need to be tense or worried. A tight leash makes your dog nervous and aggressive. The best idea is to start teaching your dog to walk on a slack leash as soon as possible. The younger your dog is, the sooner he will learn it.
