Shakti Kapoor's original name is Sunil Kapoor. He is an Indian actor who was born on 3rd September, at New Delhi.
Shakti Kapoor is married to Shivangi Kapoor. She is the sister of actress Padmini Kolhapure, and has two children, son Siddhanth who is a DJ and assistant director by profession and daughter Shraddha who is an actress.
Shakti Kapoor is well known for his comic roles and had teamed up with actor Kader Khan in more than 100 films, and the duo were very popular as a comic team, and he is versatile even in negative roles which he sometimes portrays with comic touch.
Shakti Kapoor was a contestant in the reality show-Bigg Boss season 5.
Shakti Kapoor made his debut in Hindi films in the year 1978 in Darwaza, and some of his notable and hit films are Jaani Dushman, Naseeb, Rocky, Qurbani, Satte Pe Satta, Tohfa, Khiladi, Loafer, Jallaad, Malamaal Weekly, Hungama, Chup Chup Ke, Bhagam Bhaag, No Problem, Raja Babu and many other films.
Shakti Kapoor was involved in a major controversy when he was caught in a sting operation by a television channel asking sexual favours from an aspiring actress.
