Redmi Note 9S to launch on March 23 with quad camera setup, hole-punch display
Xiaomi plans to release the new Redmi Note 9S next week in Malaysia. The launch of the new Note 9S is slated on March 23. The smartphone features a quad camera setup at the back. The camera module is arranged in the same way as on the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Pro Max. The punch hole display housing the selfie camera. The punch hole happens to be at the top centre of the screen and Xiaomi likes to call it a 'Dot Display'.
It's still not known if the Note 9S is going to be a different model entirely or one of the existing ones with new branding and a new name. This new Redmi smartphone could feature a FHD+ display with dimensions smaller than the 6.6-inch panel seen on the Redmi Note 9 Pro.
