Ford Focus RS

Ford has just unveiled the facelifted version of the new Focus at the Geneva Motor Show. Far more exciting than that, however, are plans for the next incarnation of Ford's ballistic Focus RS badge in 2016. The next generation of RS hasn't officially been signed off, but we have a pretty clear idea of what we can look forward to. To successfully compete with scorching hot challengers like the Civic Type R, the Focus RS is expected to boast at least 320hp under its bonnet. Unlike its predecessor which got its power from a five-cylinder 2.5-litre engine, the 2016 model is expected to be treated to a turbo-charged 2.3-litre four-cylinder powerplant which should be kinder to your fuel bills and the environment.
