Ingredients

1 cup mashed paneer/cottage cheese, 2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp cumin seeds/jeera, 1/2 cup onions (finely chopped), 1/2 cup tomatoes (chopped), 1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder/haldi, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp green chillies (finely chopped),  1 tbsp coriander/dhania (finely chopped), salt to taste

How to make

First heat the oil on a tava and add cumin seeds. As the seeds crackle, add onions and cook on high flame for 2 minutes. Now add tomatoes, 2 tbsp of water and mix them well. Cook on low flame for 2-3 minutes and keep stirring. Add pav bhaji masala, turmeric powder, chilli powder, green chillies and 1 tbsp of water. Mix well and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring continuously. Add mashed paneer, salt and coriander. Toss them well and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes while stirring occasionally. Paneer Burji is ready to eat. Serve it hot with paratha, puri, roti or any Indian bread. You can grab this delicious dish without any bread too.
