'Om Shanti Om' was a dream debut for Deepika. After all, how many actresses get to be SRK's heroine in their very first film? Deepika played Shantipriya and Sandy in this reincarnation story, with all the elements that make up a full-on masala flick. While she showed only the slightest signs of newbie nerves, she and the exuberant SRK, though much older than her, made a very attractive pair in this film by Farah Khan.
