Daughter Deepika Padukone to show "Finding Fanny" to parents?
New Delhi: The current number one actress in B-Town, Deepika Padukone is not loved by her fans for nothing. Her choice of films, and the various characters she has portrayed so far on screen, have always brought the freshness we long for. Well, the actress being a family person, has now decided to show her upcoming film "Finding Fanny" to her parents too.
If reports published in a leading daily are anything to go by, then Dippy darling might be soon holding a special screening of the same for her proud parents in Bangalore. Bollywood biggies, who have watched the film so far have expressed their pleasure in doing so. The actress along with Arjun Kapoor have received rave reviews for the film from the fraternity.
"Finding Fanny" has been directed by "Cocktail" fame Homi Adjania. The film boasts of an ensemble cast, with Nasseruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles, besides Dippy and Arjun. The film is slated to hit the theatres on September 12, 2014.
Interestingly, last time when Deepika's daddy dear, Prakash Padukone had watched "Cocktail", he felt so proud of his daughter's performance that he gifted her one of his own "trophies", reportedly as a token of love and appreciation. We wonder, what Dippy will get this time from daddy cool?
