Collection of Daawat-e-Ishq on first day
Habib Faisal's Daawat-e-Ishq starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra has received a lukewarm response at the box office. Collecting a total of 4.75 crore at the cash counters across India, Aditya and Parineeti's movie produced by Yash Raj Films has opened on a slow note.
Daawat-e-Ishq has released opposite Anil Kapoor's Khoobsurat starring Sonam Kapoor and Fawad Khan. Both the films have similar occupancies of 15-20% at multiplexes however Ms Chopra's film has received a better opening at the single screens as compared to Khoobsurat. Experts suggest this may be because Daawat-e-Ishq has received a wider release at multiplexes and single screens than Khoobsurat.
