He was seen in the romantic flick Befikre. Ranveer Singh has been roped in for Zoya Akhtar's next film titled 'Gully Boy'. He will be seen opposite actress Alia Bhatt. The story is about an underdog who rises from slums and goes on to become a big rapper. The story is based on the life of real life rapper artists - Divine and Naezy.
